unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government

Merry
Christmas!
Ok, so our Christmas
wishes are a little late, but we still want to wish you a Merry
Christmas. Christmas is a wonderful reminder of God's great plan of
redemption. In the midst of the cold, dark days of winter we
celebrate the expectation of better days ahead, the realization of
God's eternal plan of salvation, and the greatest gift ever given,
Jesus Christ.

Christmas
in Peru
Caleb and Ecko had
the opportunity to visit Peru for 15 days during December. We were
in Lima for 4 days and Trujillo for 11 days. During our time in
Lima we visited with 2 of our coworkers and had the chance to visit
1 church, 1 Bible study, our radio station, and several tourist
sites. During our time in Trujillo we visited with our 4 coworkers
and had the chance to visit our Seminary (for graduation), 2
churches, the site of our newest Trujillo-area church plant, our
camp property, our local pastors' fellowship, and several tourist
sites. It was a joy to be in the place God has called us.
We used our time in
Trujillo to better understand life in Peru and get to know our city
a little bit better. It was a very refreshing and encouraging time.
We would have been happy to stay longer, but we figured our
children needed to see us again (or maybe it was the other way
around). God used the time we spent in Peru to sharpen our focus
and increase our burden for this needy place. Thank you for praying
for our trip.
Christmas in Trujillo: yes, it is sunny and
warm. It's strange
to think that it's
Christmastime when it's 70 and sunny every day.

2012: Changes on the Horizon
We look ahead to 2012 with great anticipation. We
continue to schedule deputation meetings, and we are very pleased
that God has filled much of our calendar for the first half of this
new year.
We expect several changes in the coming months. The
first change is that we will be moving to a new home soon. This
means that our mailing address will change. This is also a good
opportunity for us to remind you to inform us of your address
changes, as well. Please let us know when you change your email or
home address.
The second change that 2012 will bring is a new baby!
We are expecting our little one to arrive on June 20. Please pray
with us for a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby.
The third change that we hope 2012 will bring is a
close to our deputation time. We are praying that God will allow us
to finish deputation during this next calendar year. Right now we
are at 38% and have 6 churches that are voting on us in January.
Pray with us that God will continue to grow our support and enable
us to finish well during 2012.

May God richly bless you as you serve Him in 2012.
Until all have heard,
Caleb, Ecko, Joseph, Jack, and Isabel Stein
