Support Update...63%
We are very excited to be
at 63% now! God has provided 13 new supporters (churches and individuals)
in the past 6 months, and our support has nearly doubled in that
time. We are thankful for those of you that faithfully give of your
time and your money to help us on our way to Peru.
We have several more
churches that would like to partner with us in the coming months. Pray
with us that God will enable them to do so.
Please pray that God will
continue to give us good meetings and enable new churches to support
us.

Deputation Update
We plan to head out West
this summer (Western South Dakota and Eastern Colorado/ Wyoming).
Thank you for praying with us about meetings in that area. God has
provided meetings for much of the time we are there in July and
August. Right now we have 8 Sunday meetings and 2 mid-week meetings
during July 15-August 19. Please pray with us that God might allow
some of these churches to partner with us.
After consulting with our
directors at Baptist Mid-Missions we are targeting March 2013 for the
end of our deputation. We would love to enroll in language school in
January 2013, but that goal seems a little out of reach at this
point. We need to be at 85-90% of our needed support in order to
commit to language school, and we must commit 2 months before the
start of the term. If you can commit to pray with us that God will
supply our necessary funds by March 2013, will you email us to let us
know that you are praying with us? We truly appreciate the investment
of your time and energy on our behalf.

Hooray for Springtime!
It is a balmy 77° today in
Watertown. Kind of reminds us of a place we like a lot (Trujillo,
Peru, for those of you who are wondering). Springtime is a fun time
of year: the sun is shining; the thunderstorms are rolling through;
the flowers, trees, and grass are waking from their winter slumber;
and the mice now have a reason to head outside again. We love Spring!
But, even more importantly,
Springtime reminds us of our Savior's resurrection. We celebrated
Easter just a few weeks ago, and it was a wonderful reminder of how
the Resurrection changes everything. Because Jesus rose from the
grave, conquering sin and death, we have access to our Heavenly
Father; we have the promise of eternal salvation; and we have love,
hope, joy, and peace as we walk in Him each day. What a marvelous
change transpired the day that Jesus rose again!

team. May God richly bless you as you serve Him today in your corner
of the world.
Until all have heard,
